B is for {2nd} Blogiversary

Yep, it's that time again. This day marks my 2 year anniversary of starting this blog.

I just want to say, again, that I appreciate each and every one of you for following/reading my blog.

It makes it so much easier to deal with our jobs when we can laugh about things.

I have to say a big THANK YOU to the inspiration of this blog, the one and only Mr. TV. He has no idea the impact he made on my life, but now (two years later) I can say I appreciate it. When I heard him coming down the hallway today {using his "regular" voice saying "HULLO GOV'NA!"} I just had to hug him and say, "Get to class, Sir!"

I also need to say thank you to Miss Kranz at A Day in the Life of Miss Kranz. She awarded me with the Versatile Blogger Award!

Here's what I have to do to accept:
1. Thank the person who presented the award to you and link back to them.
(see above!)
2. Tell seven things about yourself.
-I know I couldn't do a smidge of the things accomplish if I had kids and a husband! You mothers (single OR married) are amazing!

-I collect all things ladybugs because my grandmother and aunt started the tradition long ago.

-I love being the co-captain of our school's Relay for Life team.

-I am obsessed with watching baseball (Go Rays!) and college football games (Go Gators!).

-I am extremely afraid of alligators.
-I've grown up in Florida and have the whitest skin ever!

-My first "job" was feeding calves on a dairy farm.

3. Pass this on to 15 newly discovered blogs and let them know they've received the award.
The 15 is crossed out because there is NO WAY I have the time to "discover" new blogs, but I promise to shout out any new ones I find on my facebook page. I am going with these two:

N is for New Endeavor

Since it's the beginning of a new year, and I don't have any Mr. TVs this year, I am changing a few things. My resolution this year is to be more appreciative of the small things.

#1 I am thankful for No Mr. TVs this year.
#2 I am thankful that I have been blessed with a creative brain.
#3 I am thankful that I have been blessed with many great coworkers, friends and family members that support me in all my (legal) endeavors.

Because of those things, my second resolution is to work smarter, not harder. I am adding another feature to this blog (in anticipation of my upcoming 2nd blogiversary). It will become a place to share the resources I've created in the past seven years. Don't worry, I will try harder to share those silly stories as they happen.

I have created a Teachers Pay Teachers store and I have posted my first file for free. I'm hoping that I can provide teachers with a way to work smarter. Please let me know if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns that will help me be successful with this new endeavor.

B is for Blogiversary!

That's right! It's been one whole year since I started this little bloggy blog.

I remember it like it was a year ago...

It was the last Sunday of winter break and I was preparing myself to go back to the craziness that was last year. I decided I needed an "outlet" that didn't involve anything illegal.

I just want to say thank you for reading about my foolishness.

My venting and whining.

My victories and failures.

Thanks to all of you that tell me I should publish my posts to make a book. If you know any publishers call me! =)

Most of all, thank you for your comments. They truly make me feel like I'm not the only one that has that kind of day.

Oh, and I think Mother Nature tried to tell me Happy Blogiverary in her own way today. She dumped tons of water on us...I think to remind me of this.
