(Last year's class I said, "Have at it!"...This year's class I said, "Everyone sit on the carpet and three people at a time will pass out Valentines." Can you tell we have a controlling ourselves issue?)
They are so spoiled.
Student: This is the best day of my life!
Student: Ewwww! (So and So) said he "woofs" me!
Student: (eating the marshmallow pops I brought) Mmmm...double thumbs up!

After that I enjoyed some yummy Sangria with friends and now here I am sharing my day.

ReplyDeleteYour post had me rolling! Thanks! :) That was sooo me about the party (ours was during writing after lunch) and about putting Valentines away! LOL My threat came earlier in the day when I stopped math valentine centers and told them if they didn't start listening, no St. Pat's centers! They were actually upset! (Which makes me glad I put all the time into the centers, since they enjoyed them so much!).

So . . I LOVE Valentines Day! I actually just love wearing my favorite colors (red and pink) and making the Valentines stuff. I HATE the increased anxiety from the kids being all hyped up on sugar and excitement. My kids were CRAZY today! And . . . I have been grumpy lately too, I wish someone would turn my car into a love bug! :)
